Dance Workshop with Christine Denniston
Fri 28- Sun 30 March 2003

Hailed as Britain's leading authority on the Tango by BBC, Christine Denniston
has become one of the greatest proponent of returning the teaching of the dance
to its roots, which she describes as "a blend of sex and chess" and "a form of
meditation between two people in a communal setting".
Christine studied theoretical physics but switched her focus to tango in 1992.
She is a rare combination of analytical and artistic qualities, and dances both
the man and woman's part. In 2000 Christine was elected chair of the United
Kingdon Academy of Tango, British academ?a correspondiente of the Academ?a
Nacional del Tango in Buenos Aires.
