Hailed as Britain's leading authority on the Tango by BBC, Christine Denniston has become one of the greatest proponent of returning the teaching of the dance to its roots, which she describes as "a blend of sex and chess" and "a form of meditation between two people in a communal setting". Christine studied theoretical physics but switched her focus to tango in 1992. She is a rare combination of analytical and artistic qualities, and dances both the man and woman's part. In 2000 Christine was elected chair of the United Kingdon Academy of Tango, British academ?a correspondiente of the Academ?a Nacional del Tango in Buenos Aires. (Intermediate level) · She will introduce the foundation steps in "Beginner Tango" and "Milonga" but recent beginners will also find many useful tips.
