Tango Libre Dance School and Company

Founded by Gerardo Sanchez, the Tango Libre school is an intimate dance
studio located on the Plateau area in Montreal, Canada. The Œtango corner¹
has something for both the initiated and uninitiated to the art of
Argentinian tango, offering classes, practice sessions and milongas (tango
soirées) all-year round.

Gerardo and his partner Agata Jacubczyk are the school¹s headmasters and
choreographers, as well as co-directors of the Tango Libre Dance Company,
which he founded in 1993. The company serves as a creative outlet for their
choreographic work. Some the shows they have created and presented are
Discepolin, Amurado and Sens.

As one of the main tango venues in Montreal for the last 10 years, Tango
Libre remains a rendez-vous place for Montrealers¹ continued love affair
with the tango.
