Mariela is the creator, choreographer and lead dancer of the ongoing New York
City hit Swango (playing for the month of June at the Helen Hayes Theater
Company) and formerly was a leading figure of the world renowned show Forever
Tango. A highly sought after teacher in New York City and the US for her
finely
crafted expertise and methodology focused on the foundational elements of the
dance.
Hector is a most accomplished bandoneonista who as a teenager played with the
historic Osvaldo Pugliese orchestra in Buenos Aires, and following a
successful
engagement with the Forever Tango orchestra became the lead bandoneonista of
the world renowned Pablo Ziegler Quintet. His Argentine Tango Musicality
workshops,
based on lecture and listening exercises, are open to all levels of dancers
who want
to improve their improvisational skills by gaining an understanding of the
structure of
the music.
