==================================== Let's TanGO!.com.ar (http://www.letstango.com.ar/) is a website that promotes Buenos Aires culture with Tango as a thematic core. It offers a complete guide with information about Tango shows, milongas, restaurants, bars, shopping and every other tourist and cultural interest. Deeply involved with the genuine culture of Argentina and Buenos Aires, this site provides news and articles about recognized dancers and singers but also about street artists; it lets visitors know the fashionable restaurants of Buenos Aires, but also ensures that they don't miss the typical bodegons and traditional pizzerias; it invites the reader to follow the traditional tourist trails as well as to discover some places off the beaten path. ==================================== My own comments: The staff comprises professional journalists in Buenos Aires who are passionate about this project and proud of their city and country. They are anxious to create a professional-quality bilingual (Spanish/English) magazine, initially electronic but in the near future a printed publication, with well-researched "insider" articles about the city of Buenos Aires, Argentine culture and yes, the Tango. For those of us who love Tango and Buenos Aires, inseparable as they are, it fills part of the huge gap that the Tango publications don't touch and the Lonely Planet and Fodor's Guides just don't get. Feel free to link to their website and to e-mail them at [email protected] with suggestions and comments. Shahrukh Merchant [email protected]
