This are some of the "peqas folkloricas" , places where chacareras,zambas,
gatos, escondidos and other folk music is played and danced . Maybe a tanda of
tangos could be played, but it is not a rule. They have live shows of musicians
, prices are reasonable . It is also a good opportunity to know people from
other parts of Argentina, that are working/living in Buenos Aires, but gathered
at this places to keep the contact with the music of their provinces. Family
celebrations are held sometimes, you can see more than one generation of the
family around the table. Fridays is a good day to visit, other days make
previous phone call to check wether they are opened or not.
