Dear Tango lovers outside of Chicago, We are thrilled with the response we have received from our out of town guests who will be attending the Tango Gala here in Chicago. We are excited to welcome the communities around Chicago who will be dancing with us.
We would like you to know that we are going to extend a discounted group rate to your community for the Gala Night. For 10 people or more we will charge $30. per person (versus the $40. rate). We hope to welcome and enjoy a bunch of new dancers here in Chicago. All we will need in advance is the exact number and names of those intending to join us (via email) so we may prepare the correct seating and food for everyone. As far as the accommodations for the Chicago Athletic Association, they are offering $135, flat rate (that includes 10% + 18% taxes imposed here for hotels) to stay there. It is a lovely, historic and comfortable place to stay. I can arrange for reservations for anyone staying there under this special rate with your email confirmation.
