Dear Tangueros: This coming Sunday August 31st I m having my LABOR DAY MILONGA CELEBRATION. Before the dance I want to share with you a DVD of performances of the greatest tango-dancers from Argentina. It s a show made in 2001 and 2002 by the Masters that taught at the Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino. The show is very inspiring!!! Also I m planning to show off my skills as a cook. I ll have empanadas , the typical Argentine dish, and for those who are vegetarian I ll also have vegetarian empanadas. But this is not all!! I m making a new selection of the most enjoyable tangos, valses & milongas that I brought from Buenos Aires on my last trip, together with a selection of non-tango music to dance tango and other rhythms. The following day, Monday September 1st we celebrate Labor Day with a special advanced class on SHADOW TANGO DANCING. After the success of the Shadow Dancing Workshop last weekend you have another opportunity to get more of this fun, challenging and very interesting approach of tango-dance. After the class I ll host a milonga until midnight. Here it is the complete schedule of these days:
