I am pleased to announce Boston workshops with the incomparable and
inspiring LUCIANA VALLE of Buenos Aires, October 4 and 5. We hope you will
join us for a fantastic weekend of tango!
ABOUT LUCIANA
Luciana Valle, a member of Gustavo Naveira and Fabian Salas Tango
Investigation group from 1995-1997, has long been a favorite visiting
teacher of Boston-area tango dancers, beginner through advanced. She is
both an expert leader and follower, and has won widespread recognition as
the best female teacher to come out of Buenos Aires in years.
Luciana teaches with fantastic energy and exuberance, has a wonderful eye
for detail, and uses descriptive movement images, making the dance make
sense. Her classes focus on the structure of the dance, the technical keys
to moving comfortably and expressively, and the strong connection between
leaders and followers (both of whom will find classes equally as
challenging and beneficial). Her teaching is held in high regard all
across North America, where she regularly tours to teach tango to a
dedicated and passionate following. This is an opportunity to study with
truly one of the best!

5:15-6:15PM special session (1-hr.) - sp. Followers Technique* (Beg.-Adv.)

open and close embrace

DIRECTIONS
All workshop classes will be held at the Park Avenue Congregational Church
in Arlington, 50 Paul Revere Road (at the corner of Park Avenue, 1 block
south of Massachusetts Avenue).
By car: from Rt. 2, take the Park Ave exit, #58. Head north on Park Avenue
towards Arlington Heights for 0.9 mile. The Church is on the left at the
corner of Paul Revere Road, one block before Massachusetts Avenue. The
Church is also easily accessible by car from Massachusetts Avenue in
Arlington Heights by turning onto Park Avenue and traveling approximately
one block up the hill to the Church on the right. Street parking is available.
By bus: from Harvard Square, take the #77. From Alewife T station, take the

Private lessons are available October 2-8. Fees per hour are $80. Lesson
location is in the Porter Square, Cambridge area and is accessible by T and
