1. For clarification purposes, the Friday milonga has been renamed. It is now: Fri, Oct 17, 2003 8:00-2:00 AM - "La Milonga Rosa" Organized, decorated, hosted, taught and DJ'd by women--but open to all. Norse Hall, 111 NE 11th. Lesson with Brigitta 8:00-9:30. DJ'd by Jo Ann Palubinskas from San Francisco. Admission $10 (Minors OK) 2. Underage minors (less the 21) are not allowed at the Viscount in the evenings and at the Fez Ballroom (i.e., Wed evening, Saturday Sunrise, and Sunday Dinner milongas). Minors are allowed at all daytime workshops and practicas at the Viscount and at the Norse Hall and Tiffany Center milongas (i.e., Thursday, Friday and Saturday regular milongas). 3. If you have already, or are planning on pre-registering, you may pre-purchase your tickets to the Grande Tango Ball on Saturday evening via credit card or check. Pre-purchased tickets will be in your registration packet along with your badge(s). This will totally avoid you having to wait in line. (This service available only to those who are preregistering for classes.) 6:00-12:00 AM - "Grande Tango Ball" Emerald Ballroom in the Tiffany Center, 1410 SW Morrison St. Beginners Lesson 6:00-7:00 PM with Eduardo & kikki. Live music 7:00-midnight with "Tangos Pa'Milongueros from New York (Tito Castro, Pancho Navarro, Pablo Aslan, and Kiichiro Iwaki) and DJ'd by Dan Boccia. Professional Tango Show at 10:00 PM. No-host bar (beer, wine, mixed drinks, soft drinks & food) available. Admission $20/person (Minors OK) 4. When registering, you do not need to indicate the exact classes you are planning on attending. Just give me the day and time, or give me the letter designating the time slot you are signing up for.
