Mantova is easy reached through motorway A22 Modena-Brennero Exit Mantova Nord
5 km from town centre. Please see www.maporama.com for detailed information on
trip length, time required, best way to get here etc. (it takes a little to
download the main page but can take you from Tokyo to Capetown ion foot if you
need it)
Train: (suggested!)
You can come from Milano, Verona, Modena, Bologna, Padova, Parma, and from Roma
and Vicenza with Eurostar (Roma 5.48 p.m. - Mantova 9.49 p.m. except Saturday)

www.trenitalia.com (here you can't probably see prices but train here is cheap)

Closest Airport is Aeroporto Valerio Catullo - VERONA (tel. 0039 045 8095666

Every 20 minutes there is a bus takes you to the train station where you have
a train more or less every 40 minutes that takes you to Mantova in half an
hour and costs 2.27 euros. con la Verona. Verona.
You can also fly to Bologna (99 km from Mantova) www.bologna-airport.it/,
Milan (Bergamo if you fly Ryan air www.sacbo.it/ ) Remember that all Ryanair
fights both in Verona and Bergamo have busses to train stations in coincidence
with flights arrival.
