TANGO DOWN 6TH AVE. IN THE 30TH ANNUAL GREENWICH VILLAGE HALLOWEEN
PARADE!!!!!!

WHERE TO MEET--- Meet at the corner of Broome and 6th Ave!!! (between Spring
and Canal). The van should be near-by (vans are generally lined up on the
street just East of 6th)
Find the person with a bunch of RED HELIUM-FILLED BALLOONS, listen for the
tango music!!
Get the best non-seat in town by joining us!!
Wear outdoor shoes, bring others, all extra bags are put in the van.

Come no later than 5:30, if you want to find us before the crush.
We lose many each year who come too late!

HELP! HELP! Come at 4:30 to help-------leave work early, quit your job to
HELP GET THE TRUCK FITTED WITH SPEAKERS, BALLOONS AND COMPLETELY COVERED
WITH SIGNS ADVERTISING NY TANGO!

Also Trey Parker is producing thousands of flyers with all the local tango
activities!!! We get on local TV!!! THIS EVENT EXPANDS COMMUNITY!!!!

For SEVEN YEARS, we have had a tango contingent! We always get applause!
It is a hoot, a howl and a scream,
and the only place to be is IN the parade to get up close and personal with
the wildest, funniest, craziest costumes our wonderfully wacky New Yorkers
have to offer!

If you bring your car into town, park it a mile or two away, walk, take the
subway or ride a broom for least trouble.

Out-of-towners: This is worth coming to town for!!!
It is over by 9, and an easy walk, broom, or taxi (5 min. max) near-by to
3 wonderful Halloween milongas.

Come as yourself --or in whatever--tanguero looks, or just wear a wig--any
old wig makes a Halloween fashion statement as nothing else, and there is so
little effort involved!

Everyone dances with everyone!! Do it--no one has ever regretted this act
of insanity! It is an easy, not too fast dancing with pauses and stops and
it is safe and silly.

Always ¡Celebrating Tango! in NYC,
Lucille
