Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of the Tango,
I am happy to present for your consideration the long-awaited schedule of
the Master Classes of the fabulous Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa,
November 21 - 23, 2003 in Denver, Colorado. We will have a week of intense
training, a wonderful special, originally unscheduled milonga at the
Mercury (this was the weekend that we normally would not have had a
milonga at teh Merc) with a surprise and a performance by Julio and Corina,
several days of private lessons as well as after class dinners out with
Julio and Corina.
The schedule of private lessons is also ready, If you are on my list for a
private lessons, I will be scheduling the lessons according to the order in
which the requests had arrived. Please e-mail me as soon as possible if
you wish to schedule because Julio and Corina's.
The registration deadline is November 1, 2003. Please not that it is very
important that you do not wait until the last minute to register. Julio
and Corina's classes are always VERY full and we are committed to making
sure that every dancer who takes the group classes always has a
partner. For this reason, it is important for us to receive your
registration as soon as possible so that we can gender balance the classes.
If you need to make special arrangements for scheduling, committing to the
classes or payment, please contact me and I will be happy to accommodate
your request in he best possible way.
As always, thank you for your incredible support of these events and for
making this a special place for Julio and Corina these past four
years. This time, we will have another wonderful, high-energy event with them.
The registration materials will be available starting tonight at the Tango
Colorado practica on Tuesdays and at the Mercury Cafe milonga on
Fridays. If you wish to receive these in electronic form, please e-mail me

Cost & Registration Requirements:
The all-class discount registration deadline - $110 for the entire
series November 11, 2003
After November 11, 2003, drop in rate for the intermediate 1.5 hour classes
will be $30 per class and for the advanced and professional classes will be
$35 per class.
To ensure proper gender balance for the classes, they are open on drop-in
basis only to persons who either arrive with a partner or are able and
willing to dance both the lead and the follow parts. There is a 15%
discount offered to students, professional dancers, dance teachers
(including AT) and dancers with more than 65 years of experience at life.

Julio and Corina will perform at a special milonga at the Mercury Café at
midnight. This milonga will begin at 10:30PM. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE
BEFORE THAT TIME AS THERE WILL BE A THEATRE PERFORMANCE AT THE MERCURY CAFÉ
BEFORE OUR EVENT.
Private Lessons:
Julio and Corina will be teaching a very limited number of private
lessons. Julio and Corina will teach some of them together and some of
them apart. The booking for the private lessons is first open to the
students who are also registering for the group classes, starting with
those who are taking the entire series. To qualify for a private lesson,
each dancer must take minimum of three group classes. Should there be any
hours left, we will book second lessons for the dancers on the waiting
list. Please register for group classes at the same time as booking your
private lessons.
