QuinTango and dancers Carina Losano & Harby Gonzalez will be in residence
at Allegheny College, Meadville, PA, from Nov 2 - 4. Activities open to
the public include a dance class taught by Carina & Harby on Sunday,
November 2, at 7:30 at Montgomery Performing Space (see directions below)
and a concert on Tuesday, November 4, at 7:30 p.m. in Shafer Auditorium
(directions below). Both events are sponsored by the College and are
free. Tuesday's concert will include exhibition dances by Carina &
Harby. A milonga on the stage of Shafer Auditorium will follow the
concert.
DIRECTIONS: Take I-79 to the 147A exit. You will be on 322 East.
Take 322 over the bridge and bear right at the Y. (This is the Park Ave.
exit.) Go down Park Ave. and after 8 or so lights, take a right on to
Randolph St. Take a left on N. Main which is the next light. When the road
splits bear to the right. Montgomery Performing Space will be on your right
across from the Chapel. The Campus Center (in which the Shafer Auditorium
is housed) is further up N. Main on the right. Visitors can either park in
a lot if they find a space or can park on the street.
