The Tango Society of Boston ([email protected]) is pleased to welcome Pablo Veron and Noel Strazza back to Boston for weekend of workshops beginning Saturday, November 15, and into Sunday, November 16th, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm. Pablo Veron is widely acknowledged as one of the most talented and dynamic Argentine Tango dancer of his generation. Since appearing on Broadway's "Tango Argentino," he has lived his dream of "being in films," a medium through which he transported the enthusiasm and inspiration of the Tango to many new dancers who was introduced to him on the silver screen. Recently, he appeared in Robert Duvall's "Assassination Tango," and for those who have not seen the film yet (due to be released in DVD/VHS this December), his appearance is worth the wait. His workshops continue to challenge as well as to inspire, so we hope you will join us and take a workshop or two or three with Pablo.
Pablo Veron and Noel Strazza will also give a dance exhibition at Boston's most popular Tango event, La Gran Milonga, on Saturday evening, 15 November (starting at 8:30 pm). The Milonga itself will also feature live music by Pablo Aslan and members of what was formerly the New York Tango Trio. So whether you are in New York, Montreal, Chicago, Philly, Washington or in my former home state of California, make plans now to come to Boston and spend a dance filled weekend with Pablo Veron and Noel Strazza.
