TANGO WEEKEND with Joe Petrisko Dec. 5 9, 2003 An unique close-embrace weekend in Pittsburgh exploring all three tango rhythms tango, milonga, and vals with Joe Petrisko of Maryland/DC. Five days especially designed for rhythm lovers. Joe Petrisko grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and eventually moved to Maryland, where he discovered Argentine Tango. He s been teaching Argentine Tango there since 1994 and is established as one of the top milonguero instructors in the Maryland/DC/Northern Virginia region. His teaching emphasizes technique, social aspects of dancing, musicality, and the tango connection. Joe has studied with Carlos Copello & Alicia Monti, Maria Nieves, Juan Carlos Copes, Milena Plebs, Cecilia Gonzalez, Esther & Pablo Pugliese, Fabian Salas, Daniel Trenner, Miguel Zotto, and Osvaldo Zotto, among others.
