What's old is new again. Some things you thought were avant-garde tango nuevo were being done in La Boca in the 20's. At Ruben Milonga's workshops in San Francisco you will find out the roots of what you're dancing today and many wonderful things that have been forgotten. Ruben Milonga is a master of traditional tango forms having grown up in BA, dancing in the neighborhoods since 1956. He is a world known teacher and historian of both tango dance and music. He was flown both to the N.Y. and Zurich Argentine embassies to present one lecture. His knowledge is vast, his embodiment of the tango deeply passionate.
