Dears Dancers, I would like to let you know about our new exciting Milonga class stating next Tuesday, Jan. 13th:
8:30-9:50PM Milonga con Traspie (Int. Level & beyond) Tuesday nights, Jan. 13th - Mar. 2nd Back by popular demand- our once a year special class. In this series, Ilana and I will introduce the fundamental elements of the traditional Milonga steps, and explain how to recombine them for different possibilities and variations. We will show you how to move to the different rhythms of the Milonga and how to effectively use these rhythms to highlight the different step combination. The goal of this series is to enable you to improvise a fun and rhythmic dance on the social dance floor. A lot of these steps and rhythm changes can also be incorporated into your tango. Your social tango will benefit tremendously from this Milonga class. This series will also include new materials we learned from Buenos Aires this winter. Class Location: Greenwood Senior Activity Center, 525 N 85th Street, Greenwood. (Please enter from the parking lot side.) Cost: $70 for the 8 weeks series or $10 for drop-ins. No partner required.
