On december 22nd , the World Tango Museum open in Buenos Aires. It is at Rivadavia 830, and runs from 5pm to 8 pm , monday to friday. It has been sponsored by the National Academy of Tango, and several contributors , with money but also with personal things , that make this exhibit an unique view on tango since their origins in Buenos Aires, around 1880 until today. As the poet Horacio Ferrer commented at the opening ceremony " we do not intend to establish an ultimate compilation of Tango, but an open recollection of the Tango and his subjects of music, dance, movies, singers, composers, and dancers.
