Let me briefly talk about background on Tango Zen. The concept struck my
mind while dancing about five years ago. Whatever feelings I experienced
were beyond words. I started searching for an answer to relate the feelings
and found it in Zen, which I had studied for many years. Since then Eugenia
and I have been teaching tango based on the Zen concept, a different
approach yet fundamentally leading to a same goal of making connection with
self and others. Basically it has taken me four years to come up with what
you see in my web site and to improve our teachings of tango based on Zen.

Yes, whenever we teach tango at home and abroad including Russia, Lithuania,
Korea, France, and recently Argentina, the Zen concept was embedded.
However, I discovered that it is more meaningful to teach tango from the Zen
perspective, and that's why we started Tango Zen workshops.
