It's that time again! Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and Tango Houston has once again secured Glovertango to perform for us. This ensemble, featuring Glover Gill with his his full 7-piece orchestra, including the Tosca String Quartet, plays some really incredible tango music, and is becoming quite popular. In fact, this will be the last chance for nearly a year to hear the whole orchestra, as the string quartet will be hitting the road soon. Glover Gill himself plays solo piano for the tango crowd at The Continental Club every Monday night from 8:00-9:00, so if you've not yet seen him, by all means please come by and check out his show. He has some fantastic CD's for sale there, and there's plenty of room for dancing. We always have a great time. Please check out Glovertango's new website at www.glovertango.com . Back to the subject! The Valentine's Milonga begins at 8:00pm SUNDAY FEBRUARY 15TH, and will go till they kick us out. Admission at the door is $10.00, or only $7.00 for members of Tango Houston. Membership is only $15.00 right now, and that gets you all the way through to the end of March, 2005 ($12.00 annual, prorated). You can purchase membership that night, if you wish, by asking for Michael. If you really like the show, tips and donations to the band are welcomed, as Tango Houston contributes from our own account to help bring them here all the way from Austin.
