Breathe Fire: Argentine Tango with Paulo Araujo
In the San Francisco Bay area (plus tango seminars in Mendocino and Cabo

This extraordinary teacher is the founder of the Instituto Brasileiro do
Tango in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, with his own dance troupe and weekly
milonga, and the winner of numerous national awards, including "Best Tango
Teacher in Brazil." He has starred in "Show Fonotango-Cafi Tortoni," the
"Vossajazz Festival" in Norway, on Argentinian TV "Solo Tango" and has
taught in innumerable tango festivals
including Festival Tango in Valencia, Spain, World Tango Festival in Buenos
Aires, Portland Tango Festival, and at the major milongas in BA. He has
toured the world alone and with the queen of tango Graciela Gonzalez, and
returns now from winter festivals in Slovenia and Italy. His teachers have
included the legendary Lampazo, Pepito Avellaneda and Gustavo Naveira.

review of Paulo's technique and his unique vocabulary for those who have
never studied with him. Topics include: The 7 Fundamentals of Tango;
Technique and fluidity of walking; the infinite possibilities of forward and

The Claremont Club is a historic private club traditionally limited to
members only. (please don't confuse with the Hotel which is farther up on
the hill). It has a beautiful wood floor and lovely view of the Bay.
