Dear dancers,
Ilana and I are starting two new exciting series of classes starting
Tuesday, March 9th.
1st Class: Tango Turns (Beg./Int. level)
Tuesday nights, 3/09/04-4/27/04, 8 weeks
7:00PM-8:20PM
Greenwood Snr. Ctr., 525 N 85th Street
This class will work on many concepts and variations of tango turns. It
includes:
resolution of turns, turn embellishments for both leaders & followers,
and turn
combinations. This is one of the "nuts and bolts" class that will give
you a greater
understanding of the structure of the Argentine tango.
2nd Class: Vals- Tango Waltz (Int. level and beyond)
Tuesday nights, 3/09/04-4/27/04, 8 weeks
8:30PM-9:50PM
Greenwood Snr. Ctr., 525 N 85th Street
How to dance tango in 3/4 time?
Tango, Vals and Milonga are the three different dance music that shape
the structure
of the Argentine tango social dance. In this series of 8 classes, Ilana
and I would like
to share with you many fun ideas, steps, and figures that work
beautifully in waltz rhythm.
Ilana and I rarely dedicate a whole series of 8 classes on Vals. Please
do not miss this
truly special series.
Thank you,
Tony
