Hello to all, Plan your summer vacation in the beautiful Ozarks, and be in Mt Vernon Missouri August, 6-8. Southern MO is the demographic center of the US, so a great place to meet all your tango friends from all parts of the country.
It will be a marathon weekend of non-stop dancing at Murray's Vintage Venue, home of the best tango ambiance this side of Buenos Aires. Well, this side of La Belle Epoque. Keeping us grounded in the art of social dancing, Robert Hauk and Barbara Durr will be on hand to teach. Other instructors still pending. I am also inviting my neighboring communities the chance to share some moves. Each community will be given a time slot for a "Meeting on the Mezzanine." I am expecting a contingency from St Louis, Tulsa, KC, Memphis, Fayetteville, and more. Your community is also welcome to teach, just let me know. For the flavor of a live tango orchestra, Tango Lorca, from our northern neighbor, Kansas City, will provide a Sat night performance and milonga. Hearing them will make your very soul explode with energy. Well, this is my dream, to build this place for tango, and invite you to come. Mark your calendars, plan your road trip, or buy your plane tickets to Springfield/Branson Airport. (I have limo servive available the 35 minutes to Mt Vernon.)
