Our next CATS lesson and practica will be this coming Saturday, March 27, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Dancerama. The studio is at 404 S. Parliament Drive, Suite 204, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Come early for a lesson with Bruno Cardo, then stay to practice what you've learned and to enjoy dancing and socializing. In April CATS will meet on the 10th and 24th. These Saturday gatherings are a great place to begin learning Argentine tango, so if you know someone who might be interested, bring them along to Dancerama. For those who already know a bit about this fascinating dance, CATS gatherings are an opportunity to learn more, practice, and get together with other tango folks. And don't forget he Friday milonga at Tropicana Restaurant and Lounge. Tropicana is inside the Days Inn on Northampton Blvd. near the Diamond Springs Road intersection. From 6:30 until 9 p.m. the dance floor is ours for Argentine tango. After that the music switches to salsa and other Latin dances. When you get hungry or thirsty you can order from the restaurant and bar. No cover charge for the milonga.
