Greetings tangueros, Tangophilia invites you to join a weekend of tango practicing and dancing with tangueros from all over North Carolina (Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Wilmington, Fayetteville and Triangle),South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia and beyond! After taking numerous workshops,this is the time to get together with everyone else in our region to exchange information, to share experience and practice, to ask questions to the supervisors and to have fun dancing tango!
*SCHEDULE: We will have a practica Saturday afternoon from 2pm till 5pm and then a milonga with or without dinner at Cafe Parizade. "with dinner" option gives us a better chance of having more space to dance :-) So, dinner+milonga starts at 8pm and goes until 1:30-2:00am. Since we won't have hours of workshops, we hope that people will have enough energy to dance till "dawn" :-) Our home studio dance floor will be open for those who want to have a Sunday tango brunch/practice. We will serve home-made food, fruits and coffee, tea, and juice. We need to know if you will join us for the brunch so that we can provide enough food and drinks. Our indoors dance floor as well as the outside patio + backyard will be open for dancing and fun :-) We will start by noon and go until 3pm!
