Pablo Alonso will be visiting Washington University in St Louis, Mo from
Argentina the week of April 12-17. While here, there will be special master
classes, milongas, and a weekend workshop.

Weekend Workshop Activities:

Friday April 16 Milonga at Umrath Lounge, Washington University (Free and
open to everyone!)
·7.00pm:  Swing Lesson & Dancing
·9.00pm:  Special dance performances!
·9.15pm:  Introduction to Argentine tango class for beginners by Pablo
·10-1am:  Tango dancing


Saturday April 17 Workshop at Lopata House Multi-purpose Room, Washington
University
·12.30pm: Registration
·1.00pm:  (Technique) Posture, walking, embrace and basic adornments.
·2.15pm:  (Beginner) Musicality & basic steps
·4.00pm:  (Beginner/Intermediate) Introduction to Milonga & Vals
·5.30pm:  Practice Time
·8.00pm:  Special class for men: “Dance secrets-what women REALLY want!”
(All levels) Free and open to everyone (women included). Located in Holmes
Lounge.
·9.00pm-???:  Party/Milonga in the magnificent and elegant Holmes Lounge

Saturday’s classes are suitable for beginners. More advanced dancers will
also find Saturday’s classes useful and are encouraged to attend. Classes
are progressive.

Sunday April 18 Workshop at Lopata House Multi-purpose Room, Washington
University
·1.00pm:  (Intermediate) Turns to the right and left, musicality and
dynamics
·2.45pm:  (Intermediate plus) Changing dynamics, enrosques and tricks
·4.30pm:  (Intermediate plus) Milonga de traspie & vals cruzado
·6.00pm:   Meet at Soulard milonga


Workshop Registration:

$20 per class, or $45 per day, or $75 for the weekend. Friday is free! No
partner necessary. All workshop classes held at Lopata House Multi-Purpose
Room of Washington University (Snow Way Drive entrance), except the special
Saturday class Dance Secrets, which is in the Holmes Lounge, Washington
