We are looking for a group of 5 - 10 women that would
be interested in joining us on the second-ever,
exclusively for women tango tour to Buenos Aires,
Argentina.

After living in Buenos Aires for the last year, I
recognized the need for a tour company that caters to
women only. Ana Lma and I have heard many women
complain of Buenos Aires tango tours or festivals: the
classes are geared towards teaching men floor patterns
and less on women's technique; the tour operators cram
in too many activities leaving people exhausted at the
end of the day; and the milongas are overcrowded with
tourists making good dancing nearly impossible. All in
all, the women scarcely get a glimpse of the real
Buenos Aires.

We have started a tour, Tanguera Tours, which is for
women only. We want to pamper you and uncover the
best of Buenos Aires while you enjoy the companionship
and support of other fun, energetic dancing women on
the tour. Our goal is to focus your tango studies on
the most fundamental and empowering techniques for us
as women dancers. We want to show you the Buenos Aires
that only the locals know. Discover the milongas and
tango culture from two veteran milonga dancers who
will show you the ropes so that an otherwise
intimidating situation turns into enjoyment and
possibilities.

Our tour is ten days long. It will include a
90-minute class in women s tango technique every day
with the option for adding private lessons.
Internationally renowned dancers will teach the
classes. Also, we will include basic stretching and
general dance classes where we will learn the strength
and flexibility of our bodies, the greatest tools in
becoming excellent dancers. Patterns do not matter to
women...we need balance, posture, and to walk in a
strong, grounded way. Most say that in these short 10
days they learned more than all their previous years
of studying tango in the United States.

In our time off the dance floor we will: see a
phenomenal tango stage show in the new Piazolla
Center; explore the various neighborhoods with their
unique charms, fairs, shopping districts, and
historical sights; dine in some of BsAs best
restaurants; experience a typical porteqo asado; and
experience the tranquil islands of the nearby town of
Tigre. And, of course, you will experience the most
iconic, enjoyable milongas in town. What4s more, we
will make sure that you dance and not just become
another foreigner left as a wallflower on the
sidelines of the milongas.

Our goal is that you improve your tango immensely,
discover the porteqo culture and rituals, and enjoy to
the fullest the true tanguera nightlife.

So if you are interested, we want to hear from you.
