Hello everyone,
Having survived a mugging and robbery in Buenos Aires and then an emergency
plane landing on the way back with a 12 hour delay in Bogota, Columbia, I
arrived back midnight last night, and am celebrating by extending the early
bird deadline for this wonderful couple. Please join us for great dancing this
week-end at the Claremont Hotel. If you contact me by Saturday April 17th, you
can still come for the whole week-end for only $99. See you soon.

Argentine Tango Intensive AND MILONGA!
At the Historic Claremont Hotel and Resort
Caleb and Ting of "Liquidtango"
Direct from New York City
For the First time in the San Francisco Bay Area
April 16-19th, 2004

Caleb Cain Marcus and Ting Chin, of Liquidtango, are at the forefront of a new
generation of Argentine Tango dancers. Their innovative style pushes the
traditional boundaries of tango and bestows upon it a freedom expressed through
modern interpretation. Their teaching embodies a precise understanding of the
underlying structure of tango, in the system developed by Gustavo Naveira and
Fabian Salas, which they can clearly convey to their students. Knowledge of
this underlying structure enables their students to become dancers who can in
turn contribute to the evolution of tango. They are known for their progressive
thought, elegant movement, and dynamic ability. They have taught in many cities
in the U.S. and upon arriving in SF will have just finished starring in the
show "Tangomania." They are currently based in NYC at Empire Dance where they
teach weekly classes and host a practica centered around generating new ideas.
Their new NYC milonga on Wednesdays is called "Tanguera." In Boston they
hosted the popular "El Catedral" milonga. Check out their website:
