Starring world touring Tango Dancers Analia Vega &
Marcelo Varela, argentine flutist Mirta Wymesrzberg
leading La Luciernaga Tango Quartet, and Rubina
Carmona vocals. The concert program includes tangos
from argentine composers Gobbi, Troilo, Piazzolla,
Arolas, Pontier, Balcarce, Salgan, Plaza, Pascual,
Cobian and Gardel.

*Marcelo Varela and Analia Vega are considered among
the best professional tango dancers and teachers from
Buenos Aires, Argentina. Their tango style reveals the
mastery of the improvisation matching the complex
expression of the music. They have performed in the
Broadway show "Forever Tango" and in the movie "Evita"
by Alan Parker. Born and trained in Buenos Aires, yet
at a very young age Marcelo & Analia have already been
invited to  teach and perform in the main Tango
Festivals and cities around the world, touring each
year throughout Europe, Japan, North and South
America.

*La Luciernaga Tango Quartet is the Seattle based
Tango project lead by Argentine flutist Mirta
Wymerszberg. Created in year 2000, this flute, guitar,
bass and piano ensemble is devoted to play Tango
Music. La Luciernaga regularly performs at festivals
and venues in Washington and California.
Mrs. Wymerszberg has developed a career as a Tango
musician in the USA and Buenos Aires, Argentina; as a
founder member of Flor de Tango Trio in California,
and playing as a side musician with Hernan Reinaudo,
Gustavo Beytelmann, Claudio Mendez, Daniel Gomez, Pepe
Motta, Liliana Abayeva. Her Tango recordings are
boradcasted in KBCS, and La 2x4, the 24 hr Tango radio
station from Buenos Aires.
