Dear Tango-A List,

For those of you not familiar with the Seattle skyline, our TangoMagic
poster created by Christopher Gronbeck may look a bit strange. (To view, go
to www.claysdancestudio.com and click on Seattle Summer TangoMagic.)
However, this event will be anything but strange. In fact, it will be
magical. Our mission--should you choose to accept this assignment--is to
"Spend a magical romantic summer weekend together in the Emerald City
dancing tango at two different elegant historic ballrooms, a beautiful lake
side park, a harbor side restaurant & bar and various other venues"

Towards fulfilling this mission, we will have:

a) Great music--Conjunto Berretin Orchestra from Portland on Saturday
evening at the Grande TangoMagic Ball,
b) Great DJs--Alex Krebs & Megan Pingree from Portland, Jaimes Friedgen and
John Isley from Seattle, Dan Boccia from Alaska and Ramu Pyreddy from Ann
Arbor,
c) Great venues--Century Ballroom, Velocity Ballroom, Washington Dance Club
(formerly the Avalon Ballroom), the Polish Club, and a Seattle nightclub.
d) Great teachers--Alex Krebs from Portland and Hsueh-tze Lee from Boston,
e) Great vendors--Terra Shoes and Yolanda Rossi Tango Dresses,
f) AND the "tour de force"-- a free Sunday Sunset Milonga/Potluck on
Beautiful Lake Washington at the Marina Park Pavilion in Kirkland (10 miles
east of downtown Seattle). Check
http://www.ci.kirkland.wa.us/depart/parks/pkphoto2.htm#marina%20pavilion for
some pics.

For more details and to register, go to www.claysdancestudio.com and click

Hope you can make it.....clay

P.S. The Saturday TangoMagic Grande Ball is limited to 250 participants.
Currently there are only 198 tickets remaining.
