Come Celebrate National Dance week with the Bay Area Argentine Tango Association on Sunday May 2. In honor of this week we are going to be holding a FREE class and milonga at the Lake Merritt Dance Center in the upstairs ballroom. The class is from 7 - 8pm and the milonga is from 8 - 11pm.
The FREE class will be taught by member and local Bay Area Teacher Ted Ross. Ted has long been active in the Bay Area Dance scene in many many capacities. In our Argentine Tango community he teaches classes in Marin County and holds a milonga on the 4th Friday night at Stars Ballroom in Novato. He has been a dedicated supporter of the BATango as well as the community. We are excited that he is going to teach for us. From 8 - 11pm we will host a FREE milonga in the upstairs ballroom with live DJ Music. This milonga like the class will be free. We ask that you make a donation to National Dance Week. All money collected will be given to National Dance Week.
