Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of Tango,
I know that life gets very busy at times! This is especially true for
those of you who are planning to travel to Denver for our upcoming Memorial
Day Milonguero Festival. We are extending the registration deadline until
Friday, May 14, 2004.
I have received numerous e-mails and phone calls with questions regarding
the Julio and Corina's Master classes during our upcoming Memorial Day
weekend. There seems to be some confusion about how to register for the
classes vs. how to register for the milonga pass.
Because I have to have all of the paperwork from all of the registered
dancers at the closing of the registration, I wanted to make everyone's
life a little easier and to extend the registration until Friday, May 14th,
2004. This deadline is for all of the J & C master classes, including the
Advanced-Professional semi-private class on Thursday, May 27, 2004. After
this date, all new registrations will be treated as drop-in.
If you need information or need special arrangements to be made regarding
payment or anything else, please contact me as soon as possible. I would
be very happy to accommodate your special needs in any way that is possible.
Here are some answers to the questions that I had received:
1. There are separate registration forms for J & C master classes and for
the milonga pass. You can obtain the J & C registration from me via e-mail
or pick up a copy at the Tango Colorado Practica on Tuesdays or at the
Mercury Cafe on Fridays.
2. Your registration for the master classes must be submitted before you
can book a private lesson.
3. You may add or drop classes until the deadline of May 14, 2004. If you
are adding classes and you registered with an Early Bird discount, the 15%
discount will apply to any of the classes that you may wish to add before
May 14, 2004. Any classes added after that date will be added without a
discount. New registrations will be treated as drop in after May 14,
2004. If you add classes and you end up taking the entire series, the
all-class discount will apply if you add these classes before the deadline.
4. All private lessons require a 24-hour cancellation notice, unless
special arrangements have been made to take into consideration unusual
circumstances. The private lessons are only on Wednesday, Thursday and
Friday during the day.
5. I am posting at the end of this e-mail the schedule of classes and the
location addresses. We are going to be only in two locations - The Tango
House (Wed, Thurs, Fri) and at the Mercury Cafe (Sat, Sun, Mon).
If you are still filling out the paperwork, please drop me an e-mail
regarding which classes you are taking. I want to make sure that everyone
is included.
It is very important to me and toJulio and Corina that we have completely
gender balanced classes. These are very special and very rare master
classes and we want to make sure that every dancer who attends these
classes has a wonderful learning experience. Please help us to achieve
such gender balance in the classes by letting me know as soon as possible
that we need to be expecting your arrival. We will have a fabulous event
and we will be very happy to see every one of you.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can answer any questions you may
have.
My warmest regards,
Nina
