Tickets are on sale for the Saturday May 15 and the Sunday May 16 concerts by QuinTango at the Embassy of Argentina. Presented by the Embassy of Argentina, the concerts celebrate the release of QuinTango's award-winning CD, "To Buenos Aires with Love." To purchase tickets, visit our web site http://www.quintango.com/concerts/embassy2004.html. Both concerts now include dancers.
* Saturday evening is a gala performance (black-tie optional) with guest dancers Carina Losano & Pablo Repun, followed by a reception and a milonga. Tickets are $35. * Sunday afternoon's concert will include a short talk on "Tango in the Twenties," dancers Carina Losano and Fabio Bonini, and tea with QuinTango. Tickets are $25; a limited number of student tickets will be available for $10 at the door. The Embassy of Argentina is located at 1600 New Hampshire Ave. NW. Washington DC. Information and order forms are at http://www.quintango.com/concerts/embassy2004.html . A portion of all ticket and CD sales goes to support the Argentine charity CARITAS. FYI, there is parking Saturday at the garage at the corner of New Hampshire and Dupont Circle, just a block from the embassy. The garage closes at 1 am and charges a flat $7. Sunday the garage is closed, so allow time for street parking. Red Line Metro Stop Dupont Circle (South exit) is a good alternative. II you have questions, call Joan at 7 0 3 - 5 4 8 - 6 8 1 1.
