The Tango Society of Boston is pleased to launch the 1st Boston Tango Festival this summer between 23-27 June 2004. We are proud to include among our guest Argentine artists, 1. Miriam Larici and Hugo Patyn, 2. Armando Orzuza and Daniela Arcuri, and 3. Hector Falcon and Karina Piazza.
Also included are our local and invited guests instructors (Ron Gursky & Nancy Murphy, Hsueh-Tze Lee, Hillary Ross and Anne-Sophie Ville). Our musical artists include the Katie Viqueira Group, Tito Castro on the Bandoneon, Pablo Aslan on the Contrabass, and Octavio Brunetti on the Piano. We expect to launch our Web and paper based registration this week. Please note that special arrangements have been made with local area accommodations, and many of these hotels and hostels require advanced reservation, so book your room soon and dance Tango near Fenway Park, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and of course, off Boston Harbor on a cruise. We hope many of you will celebrate the beauty of the dance we all love in one of America s oldest cities this summer.
