I am pleased to announce the return of Brooke Burdett from Buenos Aires to Boston for a series of tango workshops June 5 and 6! The schedule for this special weekend follows below. I hope you will join me in welcoming Brooke back to Boston for these fantastic workshops. Brooke will also be available for a limited number of private lessons - book now to avoid disappointment!

Brooke is a beautiful and generous teacher and dancer who teaches with clarity and a combined Argentine/North American perspective that is entertaining, insightful and accessible. Brooke is originally from the US and has been living in Buenos Aires since 1997, where some of her most influential teachers include Pedro "Tete" Rusconi, Mingo & Esther Pugliese, Juan Bruno, Graciela Gonzalez, Gustavo Naveira, Olga Besio, Mariano "Chicho" Frumboli and Fabian Salas. With a knowledge that bridges the older and newer generations of tango dancers, Brooke combines the intimacy of chest-to-chest close embrace with sweeping and dynamic newer tango movement. In her desire to explore and improvise, she is constantly looking to create new movement for the social dance floor and to transmit to her students useful and fun methods of improvisation and "play," encouraging examination of the limitless possibilities of the dance. Her classes emphasize proper technique, relaxed attentiveness and musicality, and are an experience not to be missed!
