Two extremely talented and gracious leading forces in the San Francisco area, Christy Cote and Chelsea Eng, will be here to conduct workshops for all levels sponsored by ATSP. About our guests: Christy and Chelsea are founding members of Tango Con*Fusion, an all-female dance company, which was selected to showcase in 24 Views, a Choreographers in Action performance at ODC Theater in San Francisco on April 23 and at the Marin Choreographers Collaboration September 23-25. Christy and Chelsea are also featured dancers with touring company MonTango, which has its next performances May 1 in Santa Cruz, California, and June 13 in Detroit, Michigan. They each teach on-going classes in Follower's Technique in the San Francisco Bay Area. Together they have guest taught Follower's Technique workshops in Las Vegas and Seattle. Upcoming teaching engagements include Honolulu September 4-5 and Las Vegas Tango September 10-12. A portion of the proceeds from the workshops will go to the final incorporation of ATSP as a non profit organization. This will enable us to offer discounts for members to various dance stores and services.
