"Pablo Pugliese"

A Rare Appearance by the Latest Generation of the Renowned Pugliese Family to
the SF Bay Area

July 7-12, 2004

Pablo began his study of Argentine Tango at the age of nine with his parents
Esther and Mingo Pugliese. The Puglieses are famous for having taught many of
the current generation of professional tango dancers. Pablo won the Gold Medal
in the Toreneos Juveniles Bonaerences Championship in Buenos Aires at the age
of 14 and has since gone on to perform and teach master classes in cities
across the US and around the world, including: Tokyo, Paris, Madrid, Berlin and
Hamburg.

He has been a dancer and choreographer for many shows, was the advisor and
choreographer for Compania Tango Express working with Claudio Hoffman, Pilar
Alvarez and Daniel Binelli. He has also shared the stage with renowned tango
musicians and composers such as Hector Del Curto and Fernando Otero and is
currently part of Pablo Aslan's group "Avantango," and performed with them at
NYC's Town Hall. Pablo is a complete and versatile dancer with experience in
both modern dance and ballet. He has received scholarships from the
prestigious Alvin Ailey School and the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival. He
currently lives in NYC and teaches tango at Dance Manhattan.

His teaching is based on strong technique combined with creativity and
improvisation, not on pre-set patterns. Don't miss this rare chance to study
with this young genius of tango!
