Broadway's /Tango Argentino/ and the film /Tango!/ *
*On Saturday night JULY 31^st at **8pm**, Pablo Aslan's AVANTANGO
performs at the nearby BELLEAYRE MUSIC FESTIVAL, with the best seats in
the house available to **Woodstock** Tango at a discounted price! There
will be an optional pre-concert tango dinner available as well.*
*JUNIOR will be performing with Avantango and will be giving an
Afternoon of Workshops at Woodstock Tango the next day, SUNDAY AUG.

*ABOUT JUNIOR: *
*U.S.** fans will recognize master tanguero 'JUNIOR' CERVILA from his
featured role in the Academy-award nominated film TANGO, and for his
star-turn in the renowned Broadway production of TANGO ARGENTINO*.
*Best known in **Argentina** as a performer and choreographer, Junior
has graced the stages of virtually every prestigious theatre in **Buenos
Aires**. He was the star of the musical "Tanguera" at the El Nacional
Theatre in BsAs, and has toured all over the world, including a featured
role in Julio Iglesia's World Tour. He is founder, director and
choreographer of his own successful, touring stage production "Latin
Dance Carnival". He appeared in the BBC documentary "Traveling with my
Tutu", as the dance partner of Deborah Bull (first dancer of the Royal
Ballet of **London**) and trained the actor Jack Dee for his BBC "Happy
Hour"show. Junior has also worked continuously since 1988 with many
important orchestras led by Jose Colangelo, Walter Rios, Norbetto Ramos,
Jorge Dragone, Baffa Berlingieri, and **Julian** **Plaza** as well as
Color Tango and El Arranque. He is also known for his clear, heartfelt
teaching with detailed attention to technique, musicality and connection.*

The AVANTANGO ensemble presents breathtaking performances that embrace
Tango for the 21st century. Led by bassist Pablo Aslan, the group
consists of 6 musicians, 4 dancers, and a singer. The collective
experience of ensemble members encompasses practically every successful
Tango project in recent decades from the Broadway hits "Tango Argentino"
and "Forever Tango" to the Tango projects of Yo-Yo Ma and Julio Iglesias.
