TANGO JUEVES HAS A NEW STARTING TIME AND SOME SPECIAL GUESTS

Jueves, the regular Thursday night milonga at the Dulaine Dance Center, is now
starting one-half hour earlier, at 9:00pm instead of 9:30pm. Our schedule will
now be as follows: 9:00-9:30pm-warm-up; 9:30-10:00pm-intermediate/advanced
lesson; 10:00pm-1:00am-dancing. We are still serving the same delicious
appetizers and refreshments, and our dance floor is still one of the best in
town.

This Thursday, July 15th, we will be welcoming two special guests from
Argentina, Ricardo El Pibe Sarandi and Elina Roldan, for a special exhibition
performance.

Ricardo El Pibe Sarandi was born in 1942 and didn't dance his first tango until
he was 13 years old. In those days there were no teachers or schools of tango,
and dancers learned from each other. Today, at age 62, he is teaching his own
inimitable style to students throughout the world.

Elina's dance roots are in classical Spanish dance, flamenco and modern dance.
She has studied tango with teachers such as Gustavo Naveira, Pepito Avellaneda,
Pupy Castello, Graciela Gonzalez, and has appeared in stage, television, and
film productions. Elina has been teaching since 1989 in Buenos Aires and
throughout the world.

Ricardo's smooth milonguero style and Elina's magical feet are a joy to watch!
Together they are unforgettable.
