Dear Tango World; I want to present to you a proposal called Tangoneta. The idea is to offer an open space to all those who want to have a tango experience, regardles of level. This will be held in the Civic Centre in Barceloneta, from the 29th September to 2nd October inclusive. Tangoneta! is aimed towards those who already know Tango as well as those for whom it will be their first experience. The space can be seen as a laboratory, which means we can work on a deeper level investigating, exploring and creating within the movements that belong to Tango. The first and perhaps most important element is the place for a 'practica' intensive, where everyone can throw themselves into their own work, and/or uncertancies. Since Tango is an improvisational dance it is in the practica where we can really get to know ourselves and develop our own way of dancing. For this we have four whole days; (29th and 30th from 10am to 10pm, and 1st and 2nd from 10am to 1am). Secondly, there will be beginers classes and intermediate classes. The latter will be held as four workshops; Tango-theatre, tango-contact, Tango-Tai-Chi and Tango-Tango. Intermediate-advanced workshop Four different experiences to broaden our perception and expand the possibilities for improvisation. Tango-Theatre; Tango-Tai-Chi; Tango-Contact; Tango-Tango. Kitchen: Open every day between 1 and 3 pm, we can cook together and share lunch at 3pm. Friday and Saturday also open from 8pm to 10pm to cook dinner together and eat at 10pm.
