Tango By The River, northern California's premier center for authentic Argentine Tango is proud to present a month-long series of Milonga! every Monday night, 6:45pm-8:00pm taught by Marcelo Solis and Romina Hahn, beginning August 9th.
This is a progressive series beginning with the basics of milonga and moving up to more fanciful and complex moves, all to the wonderful, joyful milonga beat. This series will be followed by a practica from 8:00pm-10:00pm so students can immediately apply what they've learned! Practica is $3.00 for those not enrolled in Marcelo's series (free to enrolled students). Cost: $50 pre-registered, $60 at-the-door for the month series. Also, as an expression of gratitude for the wonderful support we've received from the growing tango community in the greater Sacramento metropolitan area, Tango By The River and Ms. Sandra DeAmicis, L.M.T., will be hosting a FREE practica every Wednesday night, 8:30pm-10:00pm, after the regularly scheduled Follower's Technique class taught by Lisette Perelle (which resumes Sept. 1 when Lisette returns from filming in Southern CA). Parking is free on the streets after 8pm, and validation is available for those who park in the nearby parking garage before then. Tango By The River is also proud to announce an exclusive cooperative arrangement with Sacramento's Capitol Athletic Club (where the Govenator works out!) to teach Argentine Tango to its membership. Our students (current and new) will benefit by receiving passes to use their beautiful facility. We've been approached by other athletic clubs for similar arrangements, to further provide added benefits to the patrons and supporters of Tango By The River.
