Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of Tango, On Friday, August 20, 2004, there will be a very special event at the Dance Manhattan, 39W 19th Street, 5th Floor, NYC, 9:30PM - 1:30AM, Milonga Loca of Pablo Pugliese.
It will be an evening of incredible performances. Its purpose it to benefit the fundraising efforts for a new Argentine Tango show called UQBARTANGO, directed and choreographed by Pablo Pugliese. As you may know, Pablo Pugliese has been living in NYC during the last 5 years and training intensely at the Alvin Ailey School of Contemporary Dance. In addition to that, during these last few years he has produced and choreographed numerous performances in NYC, Buenos Aires and Caracas, in addition to his full schedule teaching group and private classes, as well as continuing his own dance training. UGBARTANGO is Pablo's debut as a producer, director, dancer and choreographer in full-scale production. It is to open in the Fall of 2004. The program will include performances by many NY artists and stars of the acclaimed show "Forver Tango". Guest artists include: Lou Brockman singer "The Pulpo" Jorge Torres & Mariela Franganillo Claudio Gonzalez and Melina Brufman Jr. Cervilla and Beverly Duran Alejandra Jutti and Juan Pablo Horvath and many more!
