1. Update on Robin & Jennifer's Classes in NYC

This week is the last week in the August class cycle at Empire dance.  Next
week there will the a break between cycles so NO CLASSES NEXT WEEK.  The
September class cycle starts Tuesday September 7th.  Here's what's new for
September:

-Jennifer's Follower's Bootcamp Technique Class is moving from Monday nights
to Tuesday nights, 7-8 PM.

-Jennifer and Robin will be adding a Milonga Traspie class on Tuesday nights
as well from 8-9 PM. (Intermediate and above)

-The monthly theme of the Thursday night advanced class (8-9 PM) will be
BOLEOS. If you want to perfect your boleo technique, especially in close
embrace, come give it a try.  (To complement this course, Jennifer will be
working a lot on boleos with the ladies in the Tuesday technique class
during the September cycle.)

So, here is the complete September class schedule:

Tuesdays 7-8 PM: Follower's Technique (Jennifer)
Tuesdays 7-8 PM: Beginner Tango (Robin & Annatina)
Tuesdays 8-9 PM: Milonga Traspie (Robin & Jennifer)
Thursdays 6-7 PM: Beginner Tango (Robin & Jennifer)
Thursdays 7-8 PM: Intermediate Tango (Robin & Jennifer)
Thursdays 8-9 PM: Advanced Tango - BOLEOS (Robin & Jennifer)
Thursdays 9-11 PM or later: El Abrazo Tango Practica

2. Upcoming workshops

-This weekend (August 28 + 29) Robin and Jennifer will be teaching workshops

-The Annual Labor Day Weekend Milonguero Tango Festival in Denver CO, is
just over a week away!  It's all happening September 1-5, 2004 and will
bring together about 300 of the best dancers from across North America, many
of whom are local teachers or have 10+ years of dancing experience.
Previous events have been non-stop parties! This year there will be 5 days
of workshops, 7 milongas including 2 afternoon  alternative music  milongas
and the beautiful outdoor milonga in the Pavilion at Cheeseman Park, 9
instructors from around the country, 3 top DJs, plus the Extasis tango
orchestra. The Labor Day festival features teachers who are particularly
known for their skill and emphasis on "close-embrace" or "Milonguero" style
of tango. All teachers address the fundamentals of social dancing in their
classes - such as musicality, connection and floorcraft   and are expert at
providing insights and challenges to any level student. Instructors include:
