Milonguero, Milonga master, Tango historian, former Professor at BsAs Tango University, Ruben will kick off his 2004 Fall World Tour with a visit to New York, highlighted by an intensive afternoon workshop session in Woodstock on Sunday Sept. 12th. He is a widely- known teacher and historian of both tango dance and tango music. His knowledge is vast, his embodiment of the tango deeply passionate. Ruben's classes focus on musicality and the historical context of dance styles. Ruben will be traveling to San Francisco, Dallas, Detroit, London, Zurich, Denmark and Brazil on this trip so the Woodstock visit offers the only chance for substantive workshops on the East Coast! Ruben will also be teaching a one hour intermediate class at Gayatri Martin's La Boca Milonga at Il Campanello Restauarant in NYC, Tuesday Sept. 7, 8:30pm..
