Dear Tango Friends, This is the final notice regarding this weekend's tango festival in Denver.
If you are still itching to come, please check with your favorite airline for last-minute Labor Day "getaways". I noticed that Frontier has some special deals. Please be sure to download the latest flyer and schedule from the website so that you have important details such as times, teachers, locations and phone-numbers. There is also a map indicating most of the locations: http://www.tango.org/dance/lab04.html Latest changes include the following: - Stephen & Susan Brown have had to remain in Dallas for a family health issue. Christopher & Caroline take over their milonga class on Sunday afternoon. - Additional milongas sponsored by Chas Gale at the Tango House have been added on Thursday and Monday. Chas teaches a milonga class on Monday before the milonga. - Marilyn at the Mercury has added a Dinner/Concert with Extasis on Saturday. Be sure to reserve a spot by calling the Mercury Cafe at: (303) 294-9258. This costs $25 (not included in the Festival Pass. - At this point I expect approximately 300 people to be in attendance. The most popular event of course will be the outdoor milonga & BBQ sponsored by Tango Colorado. This attendance is a bit lower than Memorial Day, so the dance floors will be a little easier... even the Mercury on Friday night. - You can still purchase by credit card at the website, but the prices no longer reflect the early-purchase discount. Thank you; I'm really looking forward to this event. Tom Stermitz 2525 Birch St Denver, CO 80207 h: 303-388-2560
