Hi all, just a quick post to inform you that Homer Ladas and Kat MacDonald
will be teaching an Open Tango Workshop at Tango by the River
(http://www.rivertango.com/rivertango.htm) this coming weekend, October 1st
to 3rd.  The class material is designed to work with beginner and
intermediate levels simultaneously.  Homer will be dj'ing an alternative mix
during the Friday and Saturday Practicas.  Demos by Homer & Kat.

There will be a series of 8 workshops over the course of 3 days:

Friday, Oct. 1 -- 7:00-8:00 p.m. -- Introduction to Colgadas (good for
beginners and more advanced alike)
Friday, Oct. 1 -- 8:15-9:15 p.m. --Ochos in 3 Flavors (from plain to
impulse)
Practica 9:15 - 11:00 p.m. (free to class attendees; $5 otherwise)

Saturday, Oct. 2, 5:30-6:30 p.m. -- Linear Movement in Open Tango
Saturday, Oct. 2, 6:45-7:45 p.m. -- Circular Movement in Open Tango
Saturday, Oct. 2, 8:00-9:00 p.m. -- Introduction to Boleos (liner to
circular)
Practica 9:15-11:00 p.m. (free to class attendees; $5 otherwise)

Sunday, Oct. 3, 2:00-3:00 -- Open to Close Embrace Transitions
Sunday, Oct. 3, 3:15-4:15 -- Soltadas and the Anti-Molinete
Sunday, Oct. 3, 4:30-5:30 -- The General Theory of Follower's Sacadas
(forward, sideways, backwards)

Cost for each 1-hour workshop is $25, with discounts for multiple classes:

1 class................$25
2 classes............ $40
3 classes.............$50
4 classes.............$60
5 classes.............$70
6 classes.............$80
7 classes.............$90
8 classes...........$100

One-hour private lessons are available on Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday
for $65 per person or couple (price includes a $10 studio charge).
