Saturday, October 9, we will celebrate two birthdays at our milonga (Lake Merritt Milonga, 200 Grand Avenue, Oakland). Amancay will be three years old and Gennaro turns...he won't say, but only that he is older than we think! Join us for the fun and festivities beginning with an all level class from 8 to 9 pm given by Yanina and Gennaro, followed by dancing to the melodious sounds of Roberto Riobo's romantic tango dance music. (And also, as is the custom in Argentina, all the lucky ladies get to dance with Gennaro on his birthday). Later in the evening, Yanina and Gennaro will give a performance, and if this were not enough, they have a BIG SURPRISE for us on this same evening! This is the last milonga Yanina and Gennaro will do before they return to Rosario, Argentina, on October 23.
