Nina Tatarowicz and Javier Rochwarger both have been dancing socially and investigating tango for the past number of years. As a Teaching Duo, they demonstrate the ease of dancing salon tango (despite their height disparity!) combining the intimacy of direct contact close embrace with newer tango movement that is sweeping and dynamic. Nina and Javier emphasize the correct use of technique together with your own sensibility to enable you to lead and follow with ease, whether your partner is taller, shorter, larger or smaller than you are! While celebrating the many new ideas surging out of youthful tango generation, Nina and Javier are dedicated to conserving the traditional feeling of tango as it is danced and savored in the milongas (social dances) of Buenos Aires. Nina and Javier both are excellent teachers dedicated to improvisation, expression and translating the intrigue of tango into a language that is accessible to all!
