Dear Tanguera/os, With considerable effort we have collected all information we could on tango events, milongas, courses, performances, concerts etc. in Hungary (Central-East Europe).
The website is new and still not 100% complete (milongas and tango events are up-to-date and complete!), but there is new information on it every day. Soon there will be maps and directions how to get to milongas and also information on teachers, courses, tango orchestras, performers and other tango artists in Hungary (with contact details). The tango scene in Hungary is realtively small, but growing. We have 4 regular milongas and at least 1-2 other tango events a month. If you are planning to visit Hungary, you will find all the required information on the website - or if you don't just write to the webmasters (e-mail on front page) and we will help (and/or expand the website). If you are planning to stay for a longer period, some teachers speak English, Spanish, German or French and also give private lessons. We also have guest teachers from other countries holding workshops (mainly Argentina and Holland) 3-4 times a year. If you are selling products, providing information or organizing workshops and you'd like to share information about tango related products, services, events with Hungarian tango lovers, you are welcome! Please contact us - if your ad is either very interesting or you can offer a deal (promotional ad on your website or some discount to buyers referring to milonga.hu etc.) that is of interest to us we will TRANSLATE and publish your ad or banner free of charge (we also have a forum/mailing list like tango-L with almost 200 members). We are also very keen to see local advertising and information (such as European events, workshops, products etc.).
