New Year's Eve is a unique time.... a time to say goodbye to one year, to reminisce about the past year's events.... then welcome another and set our hopes for the future. This New Year's Eve will represent both for me and Carlos. On that night we will sadly say goodbye to Recuerdo Club and host our final Milonga. We are however happy to announce that we will be passing the torch. Thankfully, Tango will continue at 6137 N. Northwest Highway in Chicago, every Saturday night. On January 1, 2005, a new Milonga will be born -- Milonga Luna de San Telmo, hosted by Dan Byrnes. It has been our sincere pleasure to share our love of Tango with you every Saturday night. We have enjoyed hosting Recuerdo Club, greeting old and new friends, sharing dance and laughter, and we close this chapter with more fond memories than we can count. We hope Recuerdo holds many wonderful memories for you as well. But don't worry, we're not going far. You'll still find us on the dance floor on Saturday nights! In the meantime, join us at Recuerdo Club throughout the rest of December and especially at our gala New Year's Eve celebration! (No Milonga on Saturday December 25, Christmas day evening.)
